SUPERNATURAL HAS BEEN RENEWED FOR A FIFTH SEASON.

Word came in through TV Guide online that the CW officially announced it was renewing the series for a fifth season.


FRIDAY THE 13TH DVD starring Jared Padalecki will be released on June 16th.


SUPERNATURAL SEASON 6?Despite Kripke's statement that he had no intention of going past season 5 I've learned that Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are contractually obligated to do season six should the CW decide to continue with or without Kripke. In some interviews I've heard that both Jensen and Jared are ready to move on but later I've read that Jensen stated that a lot of those comments were taken out of context and that doing a season 6 would depend on the ratings. Kripke has also stated that he would have to see how season 5 went before deciding on a season 6.

Supernatural Season 4 DVD is expected to be released September 2, 2009. It will be a 6 disc DVD set. More details on the special features as soon as I find it. There will definitely be a gag reel, most of which will focus on the episode Yellow Fever.

A theatrical-edition DVD, a “Killer Cut” DVD and a Blu-ray of the new Jason adventure, directed by Marcus Nispel and starring Jared Padalecki and Danielle Panabaker, will all be released June 16.

The theatrical DVD will include a widescreen transfer, and the “Killer Cut” edition will contain an extended version of the film (running eight minutes longer) along with a The Rebirth of Jason Voorhees featurette and “Slashed Scenes.” The Blu-ray will sport both cuts of the movie and those two extras, plus: ....
